We love doing custom work and recently completed this beautiful solid oak compactum with blue drawer fronts for a special baby boy.

Made in our popular mid-century modern style with tapered legs. The oak has been treated with a furniture wax to bring out the natural grain.

Although strictly speaking, both our 'Vintage' range and our 'Mid-Century' range are retro.

Our Mid-Century cot has a floating base allowing you to raise the mattress when your baby is small and then lower it as your baby grows. You can also remove one side to make it into a day-bed or insert a guard rail to turn it into a toddler bed.

The tapered and angled legs are reminiscent of the furniture designed and made in the 50's and now enjoying a resurgence in popularity.

Mama Magic - Best New Product Award

Our Mid-Century furniture replicates a certain style that is popular amongst a certain segment of the population. Our Living Legends shop in woodstock sells a lot of restored mid-century furniture, so we decided to design a range of baby furniture to match.

Vintage Baby Compactum

Our vintage range has a classic look that is timeless and classic. This will always be a good style for a baby nursery.

Vintage Cots

The Little Legends Vintage Cots follow this classic style and are hand painted in our signature antique white and finished off with our special antique effect. Our baby cots can be dismantled for easy storage or moving. The vintage cot takes a standard small size cot mattress. 1180mm X 560mm.

Our Mid Century Cot has a more modern design and keeps the tapered legs and natural wood effect, complemented with a sprayed off white finish.

Mid-Century Modern Baby Cots

We have recently released the first version of our Mid-Century Modern baby cot and it is getting a good response.

The angled tapered legs, natural wood base and smooth sides marry it to the rest of the mid-century modern nursery range. The silver-birch colour we use if a warm off-white, whilst the base can be customized from a range of natural wood colours.
Available hand-painted or satin-sprayed.

This cot takes Large Cot Mattress: 1320 X 660mm that is widely available around South Africa. This modern baby cot is also flat packed making it easy to store and move.

Our new Mid-century modern range of baby and children's furniture is proving to be very popular.

Our Mid-century modern compactums are available in a range of colours.

We have been planning a mid-century range of baby and nursery furniture for some time and we are finally ready to launch our first mid century product - the Basic Mid-Century Compactum. This has been designed to be both affordable and stylish. Now your baby nursery can be as stylish as the rest of your home.
